The other bed was a late 50's(?) early 60's International bed. They had to bob the frame and do some redneck engineering to get it to work.
What amazes me the most about it is the weight difference. With the Int'l bed on it the springs would never bend unless you had litterally 1 ton or more in it. With this bed you can feel the springs bend and you don't need a kidney belt!
