Hi Chaps For some years my radiator has always lost around a quart of water, very rarely any more than that. Just lately it looses nearly half gallon and the truck runs a fraction hotter on the gauge. This is a 1975 318ci the radiator was rebuilt with four cores around five years ago. Any Ideas? It

Well it CERTAINLY isn't hot enough there to evaporate!!!
So I'd suspect that it HAS to be going somewhere.
As long as it is not leaking into the pan somehow, you have to consider that it is being burned off from a very small head gasket leak.
