Great pics, Mopat, thanks! I had some claims back in there too, at Jesus Maria and a few other places, all along '49. Worked the area from Mt. Bullion/Mariposa to Coarsegold & Auberry. Over time I worked from Downieville on down to the end, then cut across into Nevada, looking for the rest of the 'Mother Lode'. Ahhh, those were the days.....
