I have a 66 shorty that has a slant 6 "w" 727. It has a bunch of slack in driveline. when it hits reverse it is a major jarring sensation. Universals are in good shape motor mounts are fine. I am about to pull out the pumkin. Ya think I may be missing something in diagnosis and it not be

I agree fellas, a bit more diagnosis is in order. When ya get a little arthritus going, ya don't turn around, look deep into stuff as well.
