George is doing VERY well! He is recovering much faster than docs & therapists expected!!!
He has moved to a very good hospital much closer to his home turf. Has his son there now who is helping with details of this & that. They're keeping George very busy continuously, lots of various Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, needed treatments etc.
He's now able to walk again with a walker, can work his computer some and is onery as ever on the phone. He is regaining feeling on right side so that looks very good. As I mentioned to him today, he was hard to understand in the first 2 weeks but now his speech is clear as ever and he's sharp as a tack. Gotta figure too, this is with him still under various medications, so no doubt at all that the mental recovery is a huge blessing!
They have him on a fast track of physical therapy so all in all things look really good! It's hard for him to correspond by computer from there so that will be awhile, but all the emails & cards really meant a lot to him, thanks!
