Nice to see it in action Russ
Do u worry about scratching the fender wells and such? Did u use the correct rear bumper or a substitute? If its the correct one, I would like to see a detailed picture of it. Those have got to be the rarest bumpers of them all.
I just try to be careful about scratching it when I put something in it. I don't let the help at Home Depot or Lowes assist me when I load it. I have a few scratches in the floor and bottom of the inner fenders from hauling plywood and tile backer board but nothing too noticeable. The bumper is original to the truck. I don't think it had ever been removed until I removed it to have it rechromed. Here's a pic of it from outside and inside. The funky look on the backside is a heavy coat of hammertone paint that I put on protect it and make it look a little better. That's holes under the tag that a PO had drilled to bolt on a trailer hitch. I didn't weld up the holes or have the bumper service do it since they don't show.
