I'm trying to undo what a previous idiot did to the steering column on my 70, and need some help. They had a steering wheel off an earlier truck on it, and to make it fit they pulled the c clips off the steering shaft and pushed the outer coulmn down a bit, and in the process of their monkey r

Funny thing, I got it all back together and it all works, except the horn doesn't blow. Apparently the steering shaft isn't grounded, everything works if I ground the shaft. With dual exhaust on the 383, a horn is probably not neccessary, the motor would drown it out.
