because WArn probably did not renew the patent. And even if there is a patent he wont sell enough pairs for warn to justify suing him. Warns retainer fee to the lawyers would probably be more than Dans profit. Maybe he does this stuff just to contribute to the hobby more than to make money. they do loook nice!
