Thanks Doug. I definitely like 56 Fords. Here's a pic of the one I used to have. This was a 27K mile original that I bought from the original owner, who was a neighbor of mine. It was totally original down to the tires and brake shoes when I got it but I had to change those, of course. I tried to buy it when he first moved in but he wouldn't sell it. He parked it under a tree, on dirt, in his back yard and let it sit for ten years collecting leaves and rust. His family finally convinced him to sell it to me. I brought it out of hibernation and it ran and drove like new, but it was rusted worse than the pic shows. The interior, with the owners manual still inside the glove box, was perfect and looked like new. I wish I still had it. My son in the pic with me is now 38 so that's an indication of how old this pic is, not to mention the flared pants.
I have a lead on a 56 with the big back window but don't want to buy it until I sell my Dodge.
