Good Morning Everyone, After my W300 fried the amp meter last October, I decided to rewire the truck from front to back. I went with an after market, universal 12 circuit harness and after market gauges, including a voltmeter, (truck had the HD round gauges). I’ve been working on it in my “spar

One more quick test: put your voltmeter in line with disconnected negative battery cable and negative battery post, with ignition switch to 'Off'. If any voltage shows then you would have an IOD or Ignition Off Draw, meaning something is pulling power with key off. Some sound systems have this as a normal function to hold settings, resets etc. so disconnect 'Radio' fuses first.
