1965 W200 Crew Cab Update...
Finally got the Thermoquad carb rebuilt and so far it's running much better. The passenger primary on the carb still whistles.
We have been having problems with the electric fans not coming on. When you turn the key on the fans run but after you start the motor they shut off. Then you have to quickly turn the key off and then back on to get them running while the motor runs.
The brakes also work better now. We bypassed the factory vacuum booster (under cab) and finally have a better pedal.
The new weatherstripping is mostly on as well.
The front floors are the next project. They have quite a few holes and are very thin. We'll hopefully make some progress on those soon.
Also found that the motor is possibly a 400 according the casting numbers (3614230) instead of the 383 we thought it was???? [
