For all of the Geezers in the crowd, I changed the default font size from 12px to 14px.

Strange, 'cause when you first did the fonts thing, changing to 14pt, I had 14 displayed. But reply window was always small.
Then next time I checked in display font was small again, still is, at maybe 9 point, reply window maybe 8 point.
Also the particular font type isn't one of the most legible, Arial being one of the easiest on the eyes to translate.
