My Dad and I went on a little road trip on Saturday and picked up a 1964 W200 Crew Cab Power Wagon. The factory extended the wheel base from 146" (standard crew cab short bed wb) to 156" to make a Crew Cab long bed. The previous owner said it came with a stepside bed which was taken off and replaced by a custom built flatbed. The motor is a 318 Poly. It has the 3500 lb Dana 44 with the large knuckles and factory Warn M7 hubs. The rear floors are rotted out and the front floors have quite a few rust holes. The bottom corners of the doors are also rusted out as well. It had been sitting for at least 10 years. I was surprised that the tires still held air for being so old and cracked.
On the way down the steep driveway trailer brakes decided they were not going to work so it was a 1 mph for a while. :pale
It's a cool old Power Wagon. Not sure what the plans are for this one. We still have a few more issues to work out on our 1965 Crew Power Wagon to get it running good and to be a daily driver before we try to get this running.
