Just got a 90% confirmation from Chrysler Archives that the Crew Cab COULD VERY WELL BE a one-off And it only took 12 years..

It took so long because I finally got to someone who gave a c---. Over the years I have sent letters w/ pictures and s.a.s.e., e-mails to Chrysler, Warren Truck Assembly, Dodge Teuck Modified Vehicle Engineering and to many, many dealerships, starting with the original dealership in Barstow.. ALL did not reply. I think the secretaries were keeping the s.a.s.e. stamps.
Then I found a way to Brandt.who has been with the museum/ archives for twenty years. The people that I talked to there in the past were underlings and not very high-up on the food chain.
I left it at 90% because Brandt's letter indicates there is/was a lack of survivning record.
My own personal memory of the time in ordering the truck and the conversations involved and the delivery date just adds to my belief that the remaining 10 % is true in my head.
I have sent Brandt my thoughts on this and am awaiting a reply.
