Avatars now display correctly on all messages when the reading option is set to "flat" mode, i.e. Multiple Messages per page. It was a programming error on my part not a bug.

Sorry, got it figured.
If I use the program that opens all the posts in a thread It takes forever to load on dial up especially on the pic thread,, I`ll set it back for one at a time,, I don`t know the terminology (board style etc)
