took the drivers side valve cover off of my '71 sweptys 440 and coolant splashed out at me. Blown head gasket??? Cracked block??? let me know what you guys think

Like Jimmie said,,,, try and diagnose as much as you can BEFORE you tear it down. Pressue test, compression test, leakdon test,, etc. If it is leaking that bad you may be able to at least see which bank it is leaking into. Once it is apaer you can spend a bundle on magnafluxing etc
