I recently bought some cab mount bushings and bolts from Terry for my W300. He was kind enough to give me a "2 for 1" deal. I tackled the installation of the bushings today, and everything went as I expected. I put the upper bushing in place, slipped the bolt through the lower bushing and threaded the tip of the bolt into the hole in the cab, with plenty of PB blaster preceding it, and, sure enough, the threads in the cab bolt are resistant to the bolt threading into them. Now it seems as though the threaded receiver in the cab has broken loose from whatever holds it in place, so the whole thing spins and the bolt won't tighten. Is there an access to the threaded receiver in the cab? It looks like it is directly under the fuel tank.sad smiley If I remove the seat and the fuel tank will I be able to get a pair of vise grips on it? Thanks, Jerry
