Steer&Gear wants $345 to rebuild my steering box which, just my opinion, is way too much money. Do we know of anyone who does this well but at a more reasonable rate?

Depending whats wrong with your one? I got a rebuild kit from EBay and did the job myself, Really easy job I even changed the ball bearings I scourced them from a bearing company over here in England they cost less than $5 the hardest thing was to get the (preload) adjustment correct I guessed at it then fitted it back on the truck and found I had to much slack then just took it up a little. Its great now.
