My neighbor has a '37 Humpback Delivery Van he's restoring. It's complete and all #'s match. He wants to have the old long 6 and trans gone through but doesn't want to send it out to just anyone. Do any of you So Cal boys know of a good dependable shop that works on the old

Ha Ha . . I'll pass it by him.
He picked up another one of these in bad shape and semi-stripped late last year. He cut the cab off and parted everything off save the delivery box section, frame, rear doors and rear fenders, and picked up the back section of a '37 PU cab from a guy back east. He's mated the back section to the front of the box to create a '37 Dodge humpback trailer to be towed behind his truck. Pretty cool project. Hope he finishes it some day.
I'll see if he wants to ship 'em both to you.
Wouldn't hold my breath though.
