so, once again im looking at lowering yet another sweptline. im getting tired of just pullin springs and having my payload capability suffer for it, or having a front to soft to hit a bump on the road without bottoming out. i dont have the cash to go with anything aftermarket, so i got to work with

I just put W springs on the 68, to lower it, and it just slapped on, they were used on a D200 (foshe69) before I got them from him. A few people here have swaped out springs for the W's so the space between the tire and fender is gone, the W springs I just put on the 68 came off a 80's PowerWagon. I've noticed alot of difference between the years trucks also, and I guess that explains why the 69-71 trucks are so much lighter than the older trucks.
