I just used rattle cans.I sanded and painted a panel at a time,when I had time.I started on the roof and worked my way down.It helps to mask where you quit and back mask when you start again. Those trigger gizmos are a great help too.I must of used at least 30 cans on the dark red one.
The paint starts to dull after a year in the sun,but it still beats a multicolored truck...I still need to paint the inside of the doors
I am more of a fix it up guy,than a restorer. As long as it is improved and usable,I am happy.
