Is your rear bumper a factory original that resembles the front? If so, they are pretty scarce. We usually see the heavy step bumpers installed by dealer or aftermarket.
Obviously it would be nice to have the front chromed like the front but all depends on your budget. How does the rest of the truck look?
You could cheat and get a cheap front chrome bumper off a Lifestyle truck (72 and up).
To answer your question, to me there is nothing wrong with a white front bumper.
Have a steady hand? Try chrome spraying the front bumper! I used it on some horse shoes and they look chrome dipped!!
