Norm, You have been an incredible ambassador for Dodge trucks and the Dodge hobby. In your capacity as an enthusiastic Dodger, you have done marvelous things over the years to promote Power Wagon Advertiser magazine over a history of many years. You also made a huge contribution to PWA forums. You have more posts there than I do! Many of us reach points in our lives where we make new choice

In most issues of Power Wagon Advertiser I feature a dodger's truck with some photos and information provided by the owner. These trucks can be any 4X4 Dodge up to 1993, military or civilian, and can be anything from worn, daily drivers to flawless restorations. Show us your truck and tells about it and your enthusiasm. You have been, and will continue to be, a beacon we all look to in DodgeWorld; a source of technical expertise, good humor, and bedrock philosophy on a range of subjects. Hang in there, Norm. We are all thinking about you....

I have even failed at that at time or two in 25 years, and recall being contacted by the person, asking for their photo. In two insta

QuoteTrailmaster What years of trucks are you interested in? I don't have a Power Wagon, but I do have a Plymouth Trailduster, if that would be of assistance I could throw some info on that your way. Hello, and thank you for your reply. For some reason, I believe Earthlink is not letting some of my mail through, so I did not realize I had replies to this. I appreciate your enthusiasm, a

I had a Power Wagon Advertiser magazine subscriber send me a hand written letter in the US mail. In that letter he indicated that he wanted to learn more detail about the various models of Dodge trucks covered by the magazine. He suggested it would be beneficial if, regularly, there were photos of trucks accompanied by information identifying the models and their unique features and/or options. O

Consider the shift pattern of a 540. In a 5th direct trans, you pull back on the lever to lock the mainshaft to the input shaft. That is true also in a 5th over. My point? If it is an overdrive trans, the position normally used for 4th becomes the 5th position. So, you can't put it into the normal 5th position and tell. You need to put it into the normal 4th position to tell by counting r
