What bothered me about the one Kent submitted was the alignment of the trim line betwenn the cab and bed The closeness of the front bumper to the body and the missing gas cap, gasket and filler tube. Indicating the possibility that the gas tank had been removed before going to the salvage yard. I mentioned this on the forum when the picture was first posted and no reply was given.

Boy do I have a 1000 questions for you. Is the splice at the junction of the bed and cab???? "{" bracket held in place with 5 rivets for and 5 rivets aft of the splice?????? Is the fromt spring assembly actually a rear spring with the shackle going thru the frame ----shackle hanger rivet holes still there but no hanger./???? This is just a couple. Go to Norm's photo gallery f

Have a happy-hppy On my early 65 W 200 they added a rear spring assembly on the front and put the shackle directly thru the frame. this only added 2" to the wheel base The holes for the shackle hanger are still there I feel this was done to re-establish the center of gravity because of the 8" splice near the frot of the box See norm's photo gallery 51-65 era # 46-52

I would hate to mess-up a 25 year run. There is a "third" party involved --- thoes lovely folks at USPS. Go to norm's Sweptline Gallery 61-65 and check pictures 46-52 and see if this truck fits your needs for an article Also use Google images and enter 1965 Dodge Power Wagon should be the first pictuce. I can also include copies of the original DMV reciepts and Owner Book

QuoteKaegi I think they are on the right front frame rail. I have never had to find one on a swepty. I think you have a 63 that was originally a poly and someone put an LA in at some point. you have one of the heavier spring sets in that truck so it should haul real heavy loads no problem. Some time ago ( a year or so) a picture was posted on this site showing the frame number on the fac

QuoteGordo Hey, Ebay will not allow a listing for a pickup to go into salvage vehicle if seller (me, in this case) puts language in stating clear title. They are having me re-write it or change category. Also, on LA 318 heads you can't use terminology stating "Not Poly 318" on the optional "extra cost" (0.50)sub-title line Both of the above policys made me say,..

Quotebeemrmax Hey, I'm not cuttin on the value of ANY old Dodge trucks, and it makes me sick to see one go real cheap, unless I was buying it... I sold my W200, mechanically somewhat restored, hadn't seen a paint job in umpteen years for $5k, and that was to a buddy. Sold a couple D100's I've had for $1500 each. Asking $2k for the D200 I have on CL. I aint givin any

QuoteJohn B I've spoken with the owner...truck was special ordered by him in 1970 with the options you listed. Also has the close ratio 445 trans. He had the dealership undercoat the truck before it was delivered and has kept it in his garage until now. Truck was used on his farm to pull a backhoe and general duty. He told me the truck has never seen 65mph and he did 100% of the mainentance
