Hi Chaps Any one else had this. The float in the gas tank hits the side of the tank behind the rear seat on my crew cab when the tank is half full (when!!!!!) I took it out then rotated it anti clockwise and it seems to have cured it. Is there a set position for it? cheers all John

John, I think you just found out why it's made of wire... ha! ha!
The tank position and wire float can sometimes contact each other, they shouldn't and by carefully bending the wire you can place it properly. The cork goes horizontal inside the tank.
