I just found that my dana70 has a 1/2" off set on the ring gear and cant gear higher than 4/10. Will the overdrive unit from a A727 80's van work on a B727 for a 383. How well do they work? Do they make a big difference or am I wasting my time? steve

My problem is that I dont think the newer trans will work with my big block. Also I have to stay non computer because of running propane.

Ah! I get it now.
The overdrive on all modern Mopar transmissions is internal and computer controlled, however there were a few non computer controlled Mopar overdrives, that escape my memory at the moment. 999?
