My customer had this longbed truck in the backyard and decided to sell it,, its the LE edition runs perfect 69000 orig. miles drove it home no back fees on non op $900.00....first diesel truck i have ever owned. Looks like it will clean up real nice.....BNC

I agree with Jimmy about the EGT's. Those morons claiming to run 15-1600* temps WILL take out a piston or worse eventually. I don't know what they think is so cool about being stupid. Probably the same guys claiming 25+ MPG with 37" tires. 
I have been around class 8 rigs most of my adult life and 1250 is the prescribed absolute long term pulling limit for EGT temps. I do understand the CR engines can run a bit higher but I would have to see that from Cummins before I would run temps like that.
I am not sure but I don't think there was a big issue with front axle U-joints until the second Gen rigs ('94) came out. That's when the axle change came about along with the coil front. I think the '93's were the last of the real good front axles.
Not everybody has front end trouble as I have over 178,000 on my '01 and a track bar is the only front end issue I have had so far. Hope I didn't jinx myself with that statement.
