Except for possible wheelbase difference, they should be the same. Only drivetrain components were different.

I did find significant difference between my '67 Town Wagon [originally D-100] frame and a '78 W-200 frame. The later '78 frame was a tiny bit thinner metal, about 1/64" thinner if that. The major difference was in grinding on the early frame, bright blue/white sparks. Grinding on later frame yellow & occasional bluish sparks. Obvious the steel in our earlier frames is much higher quality for carbon content etc.

Think Terry mentioned something about that too, some long time back in dim history. Then again, it seems lately that all history is getting a little dim to me haa! smiling smiley
