And not all 1/2 ton frames are the same as 3/4 ton. I had a '68 D100 that had a thinner gauge frame. It was very noticeable with the naked eye. I did not have the equipment to accurately measure it at the time and it is now long gone but be aware to check for it. I have not seen another like it but if one exists more likely do.
