Well, the time has come, one too many times I slammed my rear door shut on the Town Wagon. The glass popped when the weatherstrip pooped. Fortunately I caught it! The glass, not the poop.

I bought all new lockstrip weatherstrip from Precision for my side glass [putting in solid panes instead of sliders] so good to go on gasket as the same will work here.

Question before the House, this one of distinguished Representatives of good character, in contrast with a certain other house of ill repute populated by low class sleazy sluts and conscienceless hookers, but I stray from the topic, where was I?

Oh, yes, the glass: it's stricken with age, really lacks that shiny luster. What's good to polish it up?

I have a DA sander with a felt pad, and a 4" grinder, or those cheapo 'wool' buffs that go on an arbor [not Michigan] in my electric drill, will any of that help?

Any kind of polishing compound or chemicals that work?
