Here is the boxing plate to be welded where the frame rail is "Z" cut. I will be extending the boxing further along the frame to help strengthen it up later after I get the cab back off the frame.
Here you can see the front cab mounts need to be lengthened 1/2" due to the 91 frame being narrower than the 69 frame.
I used a donor set of cab mounts and cut a 1/2" section out of it to extend the length.
Here they are all glassbeaded and ready to weld on.
Here is how I welded them on, the front lip needed to be shimmed out with some flat stock to get the correct measurements. I used a piece of 1/4" to get right.
