Power Brakes:
This will need to have some modifications done to your truck to get this to work.
With the 91 IFS swap the room between the bigblock valve cover and inner fender well is pretty tight for a power booster, but it can be done.
I used a 72-78 D100 booster and master cylinder, I had to relocate the booster mounting holes over to the left one inch to get the clearance of the valve cover.
Doing this requires a special bolt for the booster push rod connection to the stock pedal. It is an easy fix I machined an socket headed bushing bolt and it worked perfect. I also need to install a re-enforcement plate on the firewall and it needs to be spaced out off the firewall a minimum of a 1/4" to clear the cowl/firewall lip seam. I also had to cut the column support on the left side to gain clearance for the pushrod and boot, this is part of the reason for re-enforcing the firewall.
Here you can see the special bolt I machined for the booster pushrod.
Here you can see the relocation for the mounting bolts. You will lose your speedo cable hole by doing this. I'm going electric, so it doesn't matter.
Here is the A-1 Cardone 503122 72-78 Power booster and master.
