Hey Russ, We enjoyed the visit, as usual. Wish we could have had longer but we enjoyed the time we did have. This was the third visit and hope to see you again when you are back for your next reunion.
Hello to everyone. I drop back over here once in a while to see if the old group is still around, and also to see what feud JimmieD and Terry have going on, LOL. My bro-in-law still has my old Sweptline and I still take it for a drive a couple of times each year. He will never sell it.
My son had a 67 Town Panel in his shop last time I was down there. He did a lot of restoration work on the back doors and lower panel. Actually, he made new door bottoms and the entire bottom panel. Painted it white and the owner is going to have it lettered with his business name. He said he would send me a pic when the guy brings it back by.
There was a nice Sweptline featured in the latest Hemmings Classic Car magazine. Anyone see it?
My invitation is always open if you are ever in the Atlanta area. I'm in the phone book, Russell Ashley, Lawrenceville, Ga. Look me up, I can still talk "Sweptline" even though I don't have one currently.
