Well I took out the distributor and put in another one and the motor run better! Im able to rev it up fine, Im relieved its not something internally wrong with the motor! Now I just need to find out whats wrong with the distributor. I wonder if its points bounce? Bad condenser... even tho it "was" new. Or the new vacuum advance is putting out too much advance. The weights appeared to be fine if I recall. I wanna convert it to pertronix but couldn't find a listing for a Autolite IBP-4003r. Does anyone with an autolite poly have a pertronix setup?
