If it's a divorced transfer, I believe the short driveshaft is the same.
I'm not that familiar with the 77 front axle, but I think you will have to have a custom draglink made to convert from your 66 box pitman arm to the 77 axle.
The 61-71 D series draglink and or pitman arm is different from a 61-71 W series draglink also.
If I remember correctly the 61-71 draglink is a ball & socket type on both ends. The 77 draglink uses a tie-rod end style.

MoparNorm had this made up for his truck to do basically what your doing. The pitman arm was part of a conversion kit to power steering using a Ford box.
The company only made a limited amount and was forced due to liability issues to stop production. To my knowledge, nobody has come up with anything as of yet in a kit........
