Hello there! I have a 66 D100 that I am converting to a 4wd. The parts truck I am using is a 77 3/4 ton W200. My main questions are how well does the steering match up, as in can I use the drag link and pitman arm from the 77as a direct swap? Also the truck has the np 435 4-speed. Question there is

Ok, forget what I mentioned in my last post on the front axle.
I just went out and looked at my 68 W200 and from what I see the only modification you will have to make is:
You will have to use an adjustable type draglink with rod ends and you will have to get a W100 or 200 pitman arm for the steering box.
Your D100 arm will be different.
The reason for doing this is, 61-71 uses a rod end that goes into the axle steering arm from the top, the later ones have a rod end that goes in from the bottom. Unless you could find a steering arm that is designed like the 61-71...
Other than that it should be a pretty straight forward swap.
