I found the number on the passenger side, front of block: 2468230. It’s possIble the “6” is an “8” . And ideas? I’d like to see if the engine is the 318-3 truck poly. This engine is not original. When I found the truck in a salvage yard there was a non-running LA engine in it. I wanted the “correct

I’d like to see if the engine is the 318-3 truck poly. This engine is not original. When I found the truck in a salvage yard there was a non-running LA engine in it.
I wanted the “correct” engine.
The truck is a 1960 W500 Power Wagon. Technically not a Sweptline, but I figured with all the knowledge here someone might know the answer.
