I am suggesting an option that allows phorum participants to become a paid subscriber and be able to pay/renew at the phorum. It can be linked to paypal. It might bring in more revenues if A) everyone was identified as a paid user. B) there was a clear easy way to collect from the phorum website it

Sorry I just discovered this thread and had already posted about this somewhere else. I agree the ability to use a credit card would make it easier. Mr Norm doesn`t need to appear to be begging. We should all gracefully contribute with thanks. I don`t know what other forums do other than the PW forum. I do know one CTD site charge a set fee. The dues that were posted on this forum a long time ago seemed pretty low for what we get but if thats all it takes then so be it. All I know is that it is not fair to Norm, Phil and whoever else is behind the scenes to operate at a loss.
How about a sticky for suggestions and maybe Phil could do it to thwart any thoughts about Norm attempting to be a profit monger
