I got replacment belt line strips and they do not have the metal backing like original. they are wavy and cheap looking when installed. anyone know which brand stil has the metal backing?

Did the ones you got on Ebay have any kind of stiffener in them? The only rubber part that I've seen that had a metal stiffener was the verticle division bar seal that the vent window closes to. The replacements that I gor for those had a plastic stiffener that wasn't as rigid as the originals.
