Anyone know the torque specs for 69 W200 with a stock Dana 44 front drum brake wheel bearing? -------------------------- 66 W200, 440/727, almost back together, restored!. 68 Galaxie 390 70 W200, 392, NV4500, d60f, d70r, hydraulic clutch, p/s, hydroboost, HD factory gauges 70 F250, 6BT, NV4500, d60

I'll have to agree with all that from BeemrWax. One further thought: when installing all new bearings & seals it's a good idea to do the tightening/loosening several times to help set all the parts in the right place in pre-load.

I checked on the net last night loking for the exact info and found only D44 disc brake info. That expert advice from 'Knowledgable sources' varied from 35 to 50 lbs torque, and then backing off the nut varied from 1/4 turn of nut to 1/2 turn of nut! Seems there'd be a slight difference between 50 lbs & 1/4 turn and 35 lbs & 1/2 turn....?
