I need to order some with gaskets, etc. Don't have any samples handy, the gooberhead who put the engine in used bolts top and bottom... I want to stud the bottom hole like they're supposed to be. They're 3/8" thread (?), but how long are the studs (and the top bolts?), and which

I need to order some with gaskets, etc. Don't have any samples handy, the gooberhead who put the engine in used bolts top and bottom... I want to stud the bottom hole like they're supposed to be.
They're 3/8" thread (?), but how long are the studs (and the top bolts?), and which side goes into the block, coarse or fine? I need to know ahead of time to get the correct thread brass nuts.
