I need to order some with gaskets, etc. Don't have any samples handy, the gooberhead who put the engine in used bolts top and bottom... I want to stud the bottom hole like they're supposed to be. They're 3/8" thread (?), but how long are the studs (and the top bolts?), and which

I do use the sealer, the "Ultra" Hi Temp Orange, really excellent for lots of applications.
1 1/2" sounds about right. I just went through this a year ago on one engine (busted stud, a real PITA to fix in the truc
