I need to order some with gaskets, etc. Don't have any samples handy, the gooberhead who put the engine in used bolts top and bottom... I want to stud the bottom hole like they're supposed to be. They're 3/8" thread (?), but how long are the studs (and the top bolts?), and which

The coarse side goes into the block. I recommend using some high temp sealer on the studs so you don't have to deal with leaking antifreeze. Dealt with that on my Poly 318. Not sure on the length (I think ~1.5" ) and pretty sure they are 3/8 threads. Hopefully someone else will help out....
