I heard that commercial last night and wondered about that too. I wondered why they didn't say that they were the first with a crew cab and now have a new, better, yada yada yada ( add your own line here, LOL.
I may be wrong about being the first, but I can't think of any others being offered by the manufacturer before 1961, when the first Dodge crews were offered.
