I have always used the "best source" for answering my own questions and for answering questions posted on the forums. I just want to know if I am doing it wrong.
You say you searched all over the internet and could not find an answer. My computer has a "Search" function that gave me many results from "toyota+towing". May be this site can help:

Smart-ass answers like this are the reason that I haven't been posting any questions or answers on the forum lately. He simply asked a question about something that someone here might have had some actual experience with, never mind what the Toyota service manager might have told you. Sure, you can find answers on the internet but are you sure that the answers are even close to accurate? I'd rather hear it from someone who I think knows what they're talking about.
If you don't like the post or if you think the question is foolish then just keep your opinion to yourself and don't answer it.
