i have been looking at many pictures of 70 d100's. there are numerous ones with 2 extra oblong holes punched in the core support under the grill. why do some hae them and some dont?? i think this has been covered way back when, but i cant remember if we ever came to a conclusion. mine dosnt ha

Trey, i have never seen them in person, i would bet that the metal is turned in a little for strength but i would think it would be pretty easy to make (without the folded metal) by taking a metal hole saw and then using a cut-off to connect the holes in the middle.....
