I never had a bad Mopar vehicle but it seems that they always got bad reviews in Consumer Reports rag and other "consumer' propaganda publications. A few days ago I read an online article titled "ten best cars and ten worst cars in 2010", with credit given to CR and Forbes mags.

Commie Reports, or CR as some call it actually had a few good things to say about the new offerings. However their criteria requires a few model years of performance in order to make the "good" list.
Chrysler is actually piling up a ton of Industry and Consumer Awards this year, for Ram, Wrangler, Grand Cherokee and Durango, Charger, 300 and 200 and the nearly all new Compass.
As I noted in another thread, they will create some Buzz this coming year and Chrysler is projecting sales to rise by nearly 25% to 2 million units, up from 1.6 million in 2010 and way up from the .9 million in a terrible 2009.
They are not out of the woods yet, but they can see the meadow from where they stand.
