My '69 has the HD gauge cluster; I can't find anything that looks like a transmitter box under the hood, but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, either. Neither my shop manual or my Motor's Truck Manual covers the tach, unfortunately. I could drive the truck up there sometime and you could look it over, if that would help. -Kle.

Thanks! My goal is to have a good, nice looking from 10 feet truck that I can use gently as a truck and tool around in. So, I'm not aiming for a show truck, just to keep it as a nice starting place for somebody else to make into a show truck after I'm dead. -Kle.

None of it is super urgent, I have the rear window working well enough that I can put it mostly down and b

Anyone have a good source for window regulators and glass carriers, or is the best bet just buying doors out of the southwest, and crossing your fingers? I eventually need a driver's rear-door regulator (it sort of works, but one arm is badly bent) and I've discovered that the glass carriers have a habit of rusting (over the last 50 years) and then splitting. Thanks in advance for

Hi all, just signed up here. My current truck ('69 W200 Crew) is getting close to where I want it, and I found this place recently so I figured I would come aboard. Back in the '90s I had a nice '66 D100 with HD springs and 8 lug (split rim) wheels that I loved, but some jerk ran a light an T-boned me in it. Then I had a '71 D100 with a slant 6 that I got for $200 to use a
