yes it is but I figured out I have the correct carb but I have the later oil bath air cleaner. will work for now. I would be interested in a oil bath for poly if anyone has one. I would trade for my extra paper filter set up

I prefer stock wiring. I did find a good engine harness. the stock system is done cleaner than the painless stuff IMO. the mopar diagrams and color system are very good as well

anyone know if the early carb top will fit on later 60s carb body? I have a good carb off a 67 and want to run the correct air cleaner on my 61 which uses the vband instead of the stud like later. if early top will fit I am looking for one

yes was talking about 6 lug. I have never seen a 68 D or W300 with 8 lug....

for D300 only 16 split rims and 17.5 duallies are available. 19.5s were single rear wheel only that I have seen/owned. the 17.5s are out there but tire options are a bit limited.

that is sad news. A big hole in the mopar world has formed now. only spoke with him a bit when helping with bringing rigs to stans headers so they could design swepty and FFPW headers. But learned tons from reading his posts. R.I P. Norm.

maybe someone hit something on the road at 70 MPH. The alignment tool that bends the axle would not do that.

anyone know? there is a nice D300 on ebay that has big back window but thought 63 ewas too early for that. also has non Dodge stamped tail gate but everything else looks to be correct except rear bumper of course

the hood and the steering stabilizers would have to go too. looks funny with wrong hood and stabilizers are useless

I have a great D300 frame I may scrap. just frame, no axles, springs or steering parts. No rust, no bends. was stripped and treated with fertan and painted about 3 years ago then driven for a few years. I dont like to scrap good parts! located in WA

Sweet! I love those hubs. I never broke one of those. I have broken warn and another brand I cant remember the name of that was all aluminum. I have had selectros on 2 WW2 dodge 4x4s that I beat the heck out of offroad for years.

the stock throttle control cable would look just like the other knobs in the truck but with a "T" on it.

yes you can still buy those knobs. the older ones are blank adn later ones sometimes sat PTO they look like a big bakelite doorknob
