dropped the D200 offf yesterday at the transmission shop, the guy loved the truck, he is a mopar guy, has a 69 roadrunner, a 65 plymouth maybe a belvadere, drives a 94ish dodge truck, lowered blue with the white over-the-hood stripes. we talked mopars for about an hour, seems we know alot of the same folks, really great guy, i believe the truck is in good hands.

i would look at in the turn signal switch area, if you have a "tilt" wheel, that could be the source of the problems. Chevy has a big plug connector right on the bottom of the column, look there, it is a big flat maybe 12 wire connector.

the problem with jeep/chrysler/dodge is the price of the cars/trucks the challengers start 22k top out at 41k chargers ( a 4 door car) start at 24k and go to 38k jeep wranglers strat at 21k and got to 32K people want reasonably priced good quality cars that parts are redilly available. build the jeep, yeah its cool, but price it for the masses not the elite i have already seem more ca

maybe they will revive that boat anchor of an engine we had in our J-200, the famous overhead cam straight six they called the "tornado", ha Tornado, pretty funny, oh and its little cousin the "hurricane", even more funny. the old man jerked out that six and installed a 289 ford and a muncie four speed, seemed to be alot better after that.

its a math problem, it doesn't have to make sence, just some fun with numbers getting you guys thinking. i did have an exhaust leak, i replaced everything and used remflex gaskets, they seem to work good. i think i was over tightening and causing leaks, these new gaskets only want 18 foot pounds of torque, the flange gaskets only want 15. as far as the problem i came up with several a

Steve (me) has a 383 with an exhaust leak on the right side of the engine. the leak is on the exhaust flange, next to the heat riser he hears: pst, pst, pst, pst, pst, pst, pst, pst, pst, pst, pst, pst. how many crank revolutions did Steve's big block make, starting at TDC (cyl 1 fires)? bouns question: if all this took place in 5.0 seconds, what is the speed of the engine? Terry, i kn

did you hook up the antenna? that was something that would catch me , i would have little or no sound when everything looked great. if you hooked up everything right, check the output with a multi-meter set to AC and see if you are getting any voltage. since music is a variable signal to the speakers it looks like AC, if your multi-meter checks Hz, try that setting.

look at e-bay or craigs list under Knaack , greenlee, or job box, you will find many sizes and shapes, great quality and lockable. just a few examples: not cheap, but well worth the price 200-300 bucks weather guard is another one to look at

BMW- listen under the hood for a "click" when trying to start it, (no-clicky,... no-starty) probably in the fuse box area if not under the fuse box cover, thats the relay you are talking about, check the starter solenoid for a good solid 12 volts when the key is turned.

i used a 1/4 inch closed cell foam, then used 3M contact adheasive to stick it to some headliner material, once that was done i used the same 3M product to stick it right to the metal part of the roof, then trimmed and tucked it to fit. great insulation from heat/cold and sound, been up for a couple years now, still hanging in there.

thanks for the link to the pics, i did get mine put together and put back in. i would have been better off pulling it out as one unit, as it was i pulled the fan and heater box seperately. i put in the new core, sealed it all back up and bolted it all together and put it in as a unit, workes great. i didnt take any pics while doing this job, has a couple issues with the vacuum lines, but i figure
